Since leaving full-time employment with Ofsted Marina has specialised in supporting senior leaders to rapidly improve the quality of provision by helping them define their priorities and focus their resource and efforts to have the greatest impact. She is particularly interested in working with organisations who quickly need to improve their leadership and management and the quality of their teaching and learning and who aspire to be good or outstanding.
As Ofsted's Deputy Director for Further Education and Skills Marina was responsible for the continuous development of Ofsted's inspection policy and methodology for further education and skills, including colleges, work based learning, community learning and prisons. She led on the development of Ofsted's 2015 CIF and inspection methodology.
Marina is also currently a DfE Education Adviser, college governor and inspector. She is a qualified executive coach and has developed Masters degrees in inspection with both the IOE and Warwick University.
